===== 📖 Books / Book Chapters ===== A book chapter is a section within an edited book, where different chapters are typically written by different authors. This is distinct from a book where you are the author of the entire work, so make sure to use the correct category: * Full Book: //Research output: Book/Report › Book:// * Books, reports and anthologies/collected works where the author(s) are responsible for the **entire** work. The work may have an ISBN. * Chapter: //Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Chapter// * Books, reports and anthologies/collected works where the author(s) are only responsible for **part of** the work, e.g. a chapter. The work may have an ISBN. //TODO: Add screenshots// //TODO: check if the library workflow also includes book chapters. This guide assumes the researchers should do it themselves.// The following categories **are not meant** for registration of books: * //Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Conference contribution// is meant for [[publications:conference_contributions]]. * //Research output: Book/Report › Book editing// is meant for [[activities:editorial]]. ===== Key fields ===== Some data fields for this item require additional context or attention.
