An ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a free, persistent identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher. It is essential for ensuring your work is correctly attributed to you across different systems. All UT researchers are strongly advised to register and use an ORCID!

If you do not have an ORCID yet, you can register one at: https://orcid.org. Please do so! It's free, and quick.

Add and Authenticate Your ORCID in Pure

Add Your ORCID ID:

Authenticate Your ORCID (Required):

Once your ORCID is authenticated, the library staff will be able to more easily find works authored by you to add to Pure. Existing works in Pure with ORCID information pointing to you will also be updated. Besides that, authenticating your ORCID lets you enable two useful features:
